WHAT IS EX 221 FUEL-RESISTANT WATERSTOP

EX 221 is a preformed adhesive waterstop designed to control the ingress and egress of hydrocarbons and other containing liquids at concrete joints. It is formulated with an NBR-based compound and solvent-resistant materials to provide reliable sealing in fuel-exposed environments.

Chemical Resistance (Summary)

Installation Overview

  1. Install in the center of the joint or within a keyway (if present)
  2. Press firmly onto clean concrete surface
  3. Butt ends tightly or splice with overlap
  4. Maintain minimum 2″ concrete coverage
  5. Remove release paper and pour concrete directly against material
